Billing for Non Physician First Assistant services is more complex than standard medical billing.   Knowledge of the coding polices and procedures for each insurance company is the key to success.  Some states have government regulations mandating reimbursement for non MD First Assistant services but this varies from state to state.

The denial rates for these services are higher so the need for appropriate appeals is higher.   Many claims are paid at a lower rate than expected and this must also be appealed.  We perform calls to check on claim and appeals status at 30 days, so you get your payment sooner.  We provide claims filling via mail or electronically through a clearinghouse to the insurance companies (Private, Workers Comp, Medicare and Medicaid). 

We will provide appeal services for our clients until the claim has been satisfied, or all appeal avenues have been exhausted.  Our main objective is to obtain the highest return on billed services for our clients.  The insurance companies have full-time staff whose sole objective is to reduce their payouts.  Shouldn't you have full-time staff working to ensure that you get the maximum return for your services? 

We will send invoices to patients (for deductibles/co-pays or balances), hospitals, and surgeons for your services if needed.  Our staff will work with you to devise a plan that fits your practice. Our goal is to meet your reimbursement needs in every way.  Why try to hire a back office biller that is just there for a paycheck and not looking out for you.  We only get paid if you do.

Depending on your needs and the size of the account our rates are 3%-15% of the amount collected.
